Our Biggest Goals

As an organization, we have a responsibility to improve and develop in a way that positively impacts people and the environment. By setting scientifically-quantified goals, we can ensure our growth and activity is more sustainable, conscientious, and morally diligent.

2025 Aims

Our aims for 2025 align with our mission to develop into a progressive and industry-leading organization when measuring and reducing impact, setting goals, and improving transparency. The advancement of our knowledge and data resources will further develop these goals.

We aim to set Scope 1, 2, and 3 science-based targets aligned with the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) by 2022.

We are currently taking the time to calculate our baseline impact to more accurately set quantitative, time-based goals. In the meantime we continue to grow, with concern for the following targets which align with our current knowledge and understanding of our overall impact:

  • Work towards fully understanding and accounting for our impact, including our environmental footprint, resource use, and social impact.

  • Align with the Business Ambition for 1.5°C (in collaboration with SBTi) and become one of the pioneering apparel businesses with complete transparency in our action towards sustainability.

  • Improve our knowledge of our supply chain. While we pride ourselves on our relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, we know we can do even better.

  • Develop and implement initiatives and services to improve the circularity of our products - an imperative action in the mission to reduce impact and create a more sustainable business.

  • Deliver meaningful global initiatives and projects to empower communities and support social and economic development.

  • Improve the transparency of our business through the development and presentation of regular reports and updates with open discussions towards finding solutions to principal issues.

Goal setting

The documentation and reporting on our impact is a crucial step towards achieving transparency and improving the sustainability of our operations. Setting realistic science-based goals through the Science-Based Targets Initiative will encourage innovative developments towards more sustainable products. We have started working with the SBTi to ensure our goal-setting aligns with scientific research. You can read more here.

How can it be achieved?

Improving the cycling industry will take innovation and research. As a part of this industry, we must encourage new technologies and identify ways to reduce resource consumption. Most fashion and sportswear brands follow the same outdated, linear 'take-make-dispose' model that must be systemically replaced. In the meantime, we can make a positive impact on stakeholders by optimizing our current business model. These improvements will encourage industry and society to make the radical change necessary.

Who needs to be involved?

The UN has outlined 17 targets for the world to achieve by 2030, which we fully support. This project is a global effort. We understand our role in this project and aim to contribute by reporting and setting goals to improve our organization. Everyone taking responsibility for their actions and improving their operations will lead to positive change throughout society.
