Pas Normal Studios is a brand of contemporary technical cycling apparel and casual clothing. Founded in 2015, we are based in Copenhagen, Denmark, where our office is located in Nordhavn right above our new flagship store. 

The concept of Pas Normal Studios is to create technically perfect cycling apparel combined with visionary aesthetics. Through innovative designs, brand collaborations and sourcing of new textiles and production methods, Pas Normal Studios strives to bring out collections that define modern cycling in a new context. We focus on sustainable growth throughout Europe, Asia and North America.  

As Freelance Copywriter your overall responsibility and key tasks will be to contribute smart and original copy that helps bring our creative campaigns and products to life, whilst owning our brand tone of voice across multiple touch points. As a person, you must be thorough and detailed in your approach to copywriting whilst also having a good understanding of cycling apparel and the sport in general. 

Key Responsibilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be: 

  • Part-time digital copywriter role based in Copenhagen. Responsible for all .com copy. 

  • Contribute smart and original copy that brings our collections and products to life on .com 

  • Work closely with our Marketing teams on email and other brand comms. 

  • Take on board the Pas Normal Studios tone of voice and own the vocabulary used. 

  • Craft engaging, incisive copy that helps our day-to-day communications cut through. This includes creating guides and copy for email paid media and product descriptions. 

  • Stay up to date on the world of cycling as part of your day job, keeping your finger on the pulse of racing, industry news and cycling culture. 

  • Write descriptions of all products and collections and info pages on pasnormalstudios.com. 

  • Collaborate with regional marketing teams on the ground to make sure our messaging is relevant in all of our markets. 

 

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities 

To be successful in the role and to contribute to the future success of Pas Normal Studios we believe you need the following skills & abilities: 

  • Demonstrable experience of writing with style and adopting different tones of voice 

  • Exceptional attention to detail 

  • A knowledge of and an interest in cycling 

  • Fluent in English 

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience 

  • Previous agency, journalistic or brand experience 

  • Approximately 3+ years’ experience of commercial copywriting 

  • The ability to excel in a fast-paced working environment 

  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines 

  • Sound organisational and time management skills 

  • Collaborative worker unafraid of creative challenges and feedback 

  • Clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills 

  • A passion for cycling 

  • Proficiency in Japanese, Spanish or German would also be a plus
